Here is the problem. CBS apparently forgot there are 11 other teams in the conference and will just pay the fines.
ESPN is worse. Not going to MSU/Mich means they are hoping for OSU/Mich to be undefeated at the end of the year, which could frick potentially a really big IB.

I wonder if the "agenda" people realize that CBS draws more viewers for a Bama football game than just about all of the rest of their program.
Disagree. This will just promote the Iron Bowl and people will be arguing over who has the better rivalry game.
I think you only have to get one team in each game undfeated and it'll be great. The other could play the spoiler.

The potential of Florida sucking this year (and being without Tebow) is a big problem for CBS. At least last year, they had the pretense of broadcasting the entire SEC -- even if that meant only Florida and Alabama. This year, it's all Bama, all the time.

As someone pointed out above, Bama and UF games on CBS draw more viewers than any other team. Since UF lost then that only leaves us. It's all about the money, not Bama.
Neither Mich or Ohio State will be undefeated for their game. At worst, Bama and Aub will both have a loss, but it's more of a possibility that we'll both be undefeated(which I'm really looking forward to). Our game will be the only big one on Friday so it shouldn't be affected by the Mich/Ohio State game anyway.

Technically, there are 10 other teams in the conference.
Also, I didn't realize that what timeslot a game is in is a major contributor to who wins. Sure, night games are more intimidating environments, but we didn't have any trouble getting our fans fired up to play Bama at 230, I doubt USCe does either.

Why is this? Isn't the game on Friday again this year?
