Once again, switch Ingram and Gerhart and Gerhart wins the heisman if playing for Bama.
Gerhardt would not have started for Alabama. If Ingram never came to Alabama, Richardson would have started over him.
When everything was equalized in the combine and NFL draft, we saw that Gerhardt was not thought of to be an elite talent by the experts.
Stanford has an excellent OL. This years team shows that.
Ingram averaged a yard more per touch than Gerhardt. He went for over 100 against the Florida and Texas D's which were excellent and with an SEC and national title on the line.
And since when was it not a legitimate argument to factor in the impact a player has on his overall team? Gerhardt led his team to 9 wins and irrelevancy. They also had the future #1 draft pick at QB. Ingram led his team to an SEC and national title.

This is why we all laugh at you ignorant Bamatards. Yes, the nation's LEADING rusher from last year (in terms of yards and TDs) who was a senior would of been beat out by a true freshman. What an idiot.

Means absolutely nothing for college. Why do you Bama fans keep using this when it means nothing? Most heisman winners do jack in the NFL.

Because he played for STANFORD and Ingram played for Alabama you retard. It's not like Stanford had an all-world defense last year. They gave up 31 points 6 times. Bama would of lost 4 or 5 games if they gave up that last year. That's why that argument is stupid.
