It will be a part of the gameplan in certain situations on obvious running plays, but we certainly will be using all of our other formations when the time calls for it as well.
Much like the Gators used it last year in the SECCG.
The team that makes the right calls, reads, and checks will win. Strength against strength - Bama O vs. Gator D.

Those 300 lb dudes will be running 20 second forties by the time the game is over.

1st off i never talked any trash. Friendly debates. I thought it would be a hard tough game for the gators and it was. 2nd, i don't live on these forums. So no i didn't dissapear.
Interesting, dex. You posted like hell up until 12-04-09 and then disappeared until a few days ago.
A funny little man, you are!

Well, one thing I like about us this year is our line depth especially at Defensive Tackle.
Terron Sanders 6'1 309 SR
Lawrence Marsh 6'5 290 SR
Shariff Floydd 6'3 301 FR
Brandon Antwine 6'0 290 SR
Omar Hunter 6'0 307 SO
Jaye Howard 6'3 302 JR
All of which have played well this year. So I don't believe they will be getting too gased out there. The key however will be how they can come off their blocks and tackle.

And you don't think Bama is going not counter the Fat Package? Anytime you over compensate for one one thing it leaves you exposed on another. Unless you can figure out how to play with 12 guys.

Uh, who are you arguing with? Cause I'm pretty sure we've already come to the conclusion that we won't be in that formation the entire game, smart guy.

Seems that most of the jack arse Gumps showed up in this thread.
ETA: Not most of them, just a good dose of them.

I actually think the package could have some success in stopping the run, but it can open up the passing game more. Especially it getting the TEs and H-backs open.

Agreed. It is vulnerable. However, it just part of the game plan as others have mentioned.

I'm assuming you consider yourself one of the jack asses then.

We will go no huddle against those fat bastards and they will collapse from exhaustion. We practice no huddle every week just for situations like this.
Greg Mc Montana will pick them apart if they run the fat package in BDS.

No team is in one formation the entire time. Not sure where you got that from.

UF didn't really run the formation much at all in 2009 because they lacked the depth inside at DT.
Antwine was hurt, Omar Hunter was a back up RS FR starting for Lawrence Marsh, who was injured off and on all year long.
This year, everyone is healthy, and they add Floyd to the rotation.
UF is stronger in the middle of the DL in 2010 than they were in 2009.

Posted on 12/4/09 (day before the SECCG). Didn't post again until 9/26/10. Uhhhhh, yeah. You disappeared. You ran like a 2 dollar whore from a distracted pimp.

Dex talked tons of shite leading up to the SEC Championship.

This is really gonna be a good match-up. Florida clearly doesnt like the fact the Alabama pushed them around last year. I think they kinda took it personally. As LSU fan, I am just hoping for a great game and that they beat the hell out of each other.
