we run a 4-3- 4

I know.

3-3-5 defenses will usually have more speed than 4-3 defenses..

More Dbs on the field.

3-3-5 is not a good defense. Its easy to get big plays on it.

We have Lockdown corners.... and a fantastic Nickle back.

We depend on the pass rush forcing QB's to make mistakes, and then our ball hawk DB's do what they are out there to do..... worked very well the past two games.

Not when your scheme calls for a converted Safety at the SAM LB position. Since Chavis has been here a Safety has been moved down to play SAM.

Also, we run a lot of Mustang package when teams are in passing situations. That is a 3-2-6 with players walked up all over the place. You never know where the pressure is coming from in that package. It has produced lots of sacks, QB fumbles and interceptions. Also, the good thing about the pressure we bring is it seems to come from the middle as well as the outside. QB's have not been able to step up to avoid the rush because of the penetration the interior DL is getting.
