But none of those D were exactly "terrifying". They had good individual players, but not a good unit overall.

You play assignment football against Auburn, you can shut them down.

Problem is, no one has. The rush upfield instead of staying at home, allowing Newton to scramble. No one has even attempted to spy him either, it's like they've never played the Read Option before...

Holy frick!!! You are brilliant. Much smarter than the DC of Clemson, SC, MSU. Please do not tell anyone else. You have it all figured out and I am just glad you are not a DC of any team we play. Otherwise Cam would be fricked!

South Carolina used their LBs strategically to try and keep contain on Newton, he just abused them physically.
