Putting that quote in context it's not all that cocky. He tells his team's first team DB's that to keep them encouraged after he blows by them. I'll say this, if JJ can blow past your #1 DB's, 100 other guys can too. Fact.

He was dominant his freshman year. Injuries,with his physical play, caused a Soph slump. Will be interesting to see if he returns to form,this year.
