I understood exactly what Saban meant by that. Hell, I still see it here all the time. The same attitude that so many fans have, expecting to just beat a team because of who they are and who we are, permeated the team prior to the Sugar Bowl. If you want to know why we lost, look no further than the mirror...the same mental condition the fans had was reflected on the field.

Hell, the day he was hired he had to snap at some questions about "how long until we win the national championship?"....after we had stunk it up for most of a decade.
