Surprising to me how national media hasn't been all over this. This is not a new phenomena either. I remember watching Bama teams in 90's and early 2000's holding like crazy and no hankies.
The notion that Saban somehow "disciplines" his team from committing holding is laughable. He coached at LSU and I doubt we went more than 2-3 games at best without a holding flag.
You could actually do a study on Sabans LSU teams and his at Bama for about as good of a real life controlled study as possible on this.
Really pisses me off!!
