What we are talking about is other fans perception of Les Miles in this thread. What we have is a you as an Auburn fan with a completely unproven coach making base claims that Miles is not a good coach, yet he has managed to beat your team for a number of seasons in a row. Yet, your are spinning he is not a good coach. If someone was consistently beating my team, I would probably respect the guy that was coaching the team that was doing it.

Would you say Nutt is a great coach?

So the guy has been beating Auburn with arguably the top 3 most talented program in the country and that is fine? I think the LSU program has been diminishing each year since 07, Miles has been lucky and only able to stay above water because of the talent and coaches that surround him.

Again I know Chizik is unproven but what does he have to do with Miles?

In the end all I am saying is if LSU had a better coach they would have been to the BCS the last couple years and not have any losses to teams like OM.

Can't argue with that. I think Miles actually is a good coach. The thing is: every coach in the SEC is "good".....you have to be. Mike Dubose and Gerry Dinardo are the exceptions not the rule. There are two great coaches right now and three if you are still on the SOS bandwagon. I believe that Urban or Nick would win championships on a consistent basis with the talent Miles has at his disposal.....heck even with LSU's second string...

first let me say I have never bashed Les Miles on this site however, how do you expect fanbases of other teams to respect his ability with all of that talent he has and losing as many games in the fashion he has the last two seasons especially considering a very large portion of your fan base rips him apart all the time. I am not talking about rantards on here; I am talking about your everyday joe blow fan that doesnt know TD exists. Outside of JH and his morning show who is a homer to the nth degree and should be for the record, your home town media takes shots at MIles all of the time and to be honest some are quite justified. The fans invest a lot of time and money into LSu and have every right to complain.
