Was in surgery for a little over 7 hours... right now they are questioning whether he will be able to walk again... they are hopeful, but still uncertain. Time will tell... good news is he has circulation in his foot again

Actually, there are a couple of people in the medical profession who are posting in there including cameltiger. He wasn't involved in Chad's deal but he knows what he is talkinga bout.

As long as you can wade through the bickering people, it's been a pretty good thread.

Word is that he'll be severely challenged to play football again (but he maybe could still play baseball). He's in top physical form and he's a fighter so hopefully he can overcome the long odds and get back on the field........someday.

They saved his leg and saved his foot and got blood flowing again as memphis said but he's not out of the woods yet. Will have lots of rehab.

As far as the accident, he was driving a brand new Range Rover and driving down Carrollton. The other two in the car (received minor injuries) said that he made a sharp jerk of the wheel to get out of the street car groove and the car flipped over and into a cement street car pole. Certainly plausible given that it was a new vehicle for Chad and a pretty high center of gravity.

And I would like to thank our SEC brothers and sisters for the positive thoughts and prayers.

((((Vibes)))) to Chad and his family. Awful thing to happen to a kid with such a bright future, but hopefully he can overcome it.

In the grand scheme of things this is a minor accident

Puts into focus the importance of family, education and friends which he still has

It is a shame he might lose his athletic career, and vie heard from many people that he's a great kid

Prayers
