Tearing down goalposts...

Does this happen in Knoxville this year if Kentucky beats Tennessee for the first time in a quarter of a century? It's been a longggg time since anyone's really done this, now that I think about it. When's the last time your school did it? Bama folks never have, doubt they ever will.

No. Not in Knoxville. It wouldn't even happen at Commonwealth. They lay the goal posts down here so that they can't be torn down.

that would be funny to see a bunch of basketball fans tear down the vols goal post.
last time we tore down our own goal post was 2000 against bama. they greased the shite out of the goal post and people were throwing shirts to other people so we could wipe the grease off.
i think it would be funny to see the barn tear down bamas goal post if they win in ttown. hsv would probably shoot someone

That one's understandable, first win in 30 yrs at your home stadium. I think any team's fans would have probably done that.

that was the first time Carolina had beaten us ever.
me and a buddy got free tickets late friday night and drove all night to get there for the 11 am kickoff. then turned around drove home in disgust immediately after.
we were up 15 in the 4th quarter and i remember some sort of les miles like clock disaster before the half ran out.

goalposts will come down on 10/23/2010 in Neyland stadium.

How in the hell could the opposing team tear down the home team's goalposts?

iowa did it to the gophers in the metro dome

rush the field?

Oh right, it's just that simple.
I'd like to see what happens when a handful of UK fans storm the field at Neyland and see how successful they get.

We beat Bama at home...they are coming down this year...take it to the bank

Don't see a prob. If Ky won, all the TN fans would be painting obsceneties on "the rock".

if iowa fans can do it i dont see why kigers cant. the kiges have that retard strength in them

Because it's the SEC, we actually care abt football. Opposing fans tearing down the posts in Neyland is a BIT different than doing it in Minne-freaking-sota.

you are underestimating the retard strength of the kige supporters

First, UK fans will not be tearing down GP's in Neyland. Just won't happen. They are the visiting team.
Second, I remember the last time I saw UK tear down goal posts in Commonwealth. And, it was hilarious. I know you LSU fans know what I'm talking about.

And I don't know if they did it in 2007, but if they did, that's not what I'm talkin about.
