Anybody heard what came out of the SEC Officials Conference this year (If they've even had it yet)? Just wondering if there are going to be any additional steps put in place to keep the horrible calls that happend last year from happening again this year.

ALL the calls made by SEC football officials in the 2009 season were outstanding! How dare anyone question them....

Yep. THe coaches were told to shut up about bad calls; there were to be no discussions publically

Maybe they would at least have given Les another second on the clock in Oxford.

That was the worst decision I'd ever seen made by an official because he was influenced by a coach on the field. Bo Pelini was absolutely robbed that game. It's what started all the dominoes leading to them going to the Big 10.

Nothing going to happen. They are doing a great job helping Bama out just fine!

They received the ceremonious hand slap with a ruler, then they all drank heavily, and swam in swimming pools filled with Bowl money.

Here's the highlights form the meeting.

1. LSU - call what you want, they'll whine anyway. If Les does this, just ignore him

2. Arkansas - flag them every chance you get because they are Arkansas
3. Alabama - before the game don't forget to remove section of the rulebook concerning holding. Also, nose picking is not a foul

4. Florida - we like FL; don't forget it
5. Auburn - give them a break when you can. It won't matter, but it's a nice gesture

Above all never forget:

The SEC needs to do SOMETHING about the officating. Last year, it was noted that Bama and Florida got special treatment from the officals which gave the SEC a national reputation of becoming a cheating league. If this continues, the SEC will no longer get the benefit of the doubt when it comes to championship game selection time.
