Okay then.

Nutt was a horribe recruiter his ENTIRE time at Arkansas.

DMac
Felix Jones
Peyton Hillis
Casey Dick

They all just fell into his lap.

You don't exactly have to be bright in order to do so. A TON of sports journalists don't know much about sports.

I agree, I know the point you were trying to prove. I was just busting your balls a little.

No it's not. But Petrino having the offensive system that he had sealed the deal. Mallett would not have come back to Arkansas if Nutt was still there.

Even Arkansas fans have admitted that the reason for Mallett not coming to Arkansas was the "cloud" surrounding the program between Nutt, Mustain, and Gus.

8 of our 55 touchdowns last year were scored by players recruited by Nutt. Guess who recruited the guys who scored the other 47?

ok? But we aren't concerned at all how Nutt did or did not recruit at Arkansas. We don't value OUR team over what he didn't do at Arkansas.

That point of yours is absolutely terrible and irrelevant.

However, to talk about "Nutt's players" when the guys Petrino has brought in haven't proven much of anything is pretty foolish. At least some players Nutt has recruited have done things like, you know, score touchdowns and make tackles 'n' shite.

Sarcasm?

Once again, this is conjecture. Please only state things which either have been or can be proven. Kthxbai.

Are you counting Mallett in that stat? If so, that's a bit misleading.

Like you assuming that Petrino and company didn't have to sell him on playing in Fayetteville when being actively recruited by his former mentor that went to coach at Tennessee or Rick Neuheisel and LA?

Those are rushing and receiving TDs, not passing.

Fact: Mallett wouldn't have come to Arkansas if Nutt was still here

It's not conjecture to say Mallett wanted to play at Arkansas when he himself was attributed to having said Mustain was the reason he didn't commit in the first place. If the guy said it, he said it.
