And why? I'll go first:
1) Coach Bryant - No explanation necessary.
2) Coach Wallace Wade - 3 NC's, and put Southern football on the map.
3) Coach Saban - What he has done with the progam in the last two seasons is incredible. But Bebes Stallings is a close 4th.

Saban
McClendon
Dietzel
Edit: This isn't in any particular order and McClendon is "Cholly Mac" for the uninitiated.

1) Bobby Bowden
2) Mickey Andrews
3) Mark Richt
Hopefully we'll soon be able to add another HC to that list.

Fulmer stabbed Johnny Majors in the back. I've never respected him because of that.

Don't know much about bama football - was that a nickname?

Yes, it was his nickname as a player at TAM, and it's what Coach Bryant always called him.

Bebe is spanish for Babe, or Baby. Just always figured it was a term of endearment, with a Texas twist.

I saw the Junction Boys - hard to imagine a man like Bryant calling his player "Baby"

No, what's a joke is the old timers who refuse to let go of the old notion that Coach Dooley might not be the greatest ever. He won 201 games in 25 years, 8 a year, which is pretty darn good. He has 6 SEC titles (3 of which were with Herschel in a row) and 1 NC. Very good numbers. Great numbers actually. However, the pinnacle of the man's success were the 3 years where he had the greatest college player of all time (please, if you object start a different thread) and handed it to him 40 times a game. Richt has shown to be more consistent over his 10 years and hasn't had to pin all his success on 1 player. When it's all said and done this won't even be a debate.
