He would have done marginally better...
Les has a NC ring and only one other HC in the West does. The guy does bring in top talent every year (maybe that's LSU, not Les). I think by default he has to be #2 in the West. IMO he isn't truly the 2nd best coach in the West, but someone has to take it from him.
Jeez...I have never talked so good about Les this much in my life.
He is a really good guy though and I respect the man.

Let me be clear I am not a Les Miles fan at all. But, I'd take him over Petrino (coward),Nutt,Chiznik & Mullen (both are still unknown.)
