I am actually a casual fan of Boise State. I even attended a couple of their games this past season. They are a solid team that works hard and executes to near perfection.
However, to give them such a high ranking is kinda ridiculous. They should at least be playing teams like Oregon, Oregon State, BYU, Utah, etc. There are plenty of good teams in MWC and PAC-10 that are accessible enough in geographical terms, but they aren't scheduling to their potential.

Like any other team that plays in a conference, they have only so many slots for OOC games.
They filled two of those with Oregon State and Virginia Tech....and I don't doubt that they tried to fill the others with BCS teams, as well.....
What more do you want them to do?
