Which coach is the best "Ra Ra" coach. The coach that is best at inspiring his team to play the best.

I would have to say Reverend Nutt.

Correct. Coach Moobs is the best at this. I would say Saban next......sans the Utah debacle.

Not being a homer but it is Nutt. I have always thought so dating back to his early days at Arky.

Saban's "make his arse quit" speech was epic, but I think Nutt is the best at getting his teams to play over their heads for a big game.

I may be in danger of losing my status as a Bama fan, but...

Chizik has already proven to be pretty good at motivating his guys. They had a pretty good season in the face of low expectations, and they did come out jacked up for the Iron Bowl.

On a side note: Nutt is only a good motivator when his teams aren't very good. He proved as much this past year - especially in the South Carolina game.

I would agree Chizik's hat has to thrown in the ring for their inspired performance vs Bama, but they were awful vs Arkansas and LSU.

His players seem to really love to play for him though.

Nick Saban and it ain't even close guys. His 08 team had no business in the NC hunt talent wise. We were behind in talent to at least two teams last year when we won it all.

I disagree with you on that one. Maybe Alabama didn't have the depth that other teams have, but you are kidding yourself if you don't think they have talent. Florida would be the only one who I would argue that had more talent than Alabama last year.

Alabama's 08 team was lacking severly in talent, but that 08 class class closed the gap fast as hell and that 09 class was the needed for depth.

2010 and 2011 will be Saban's most talented Bama teams, but will the experience and leadership be there at key spots.

In overall athleticism in the Bama games I watched I would say LSU, UF, SCAR, definitely had better athletes than Alabama especially at the skill positions. WR, DBs specifically.

So you're honestly going to sit there and say that USCe had more talent than Bama?
