It truly does. As far as hipster types, they usually overlook Fratdouchery for the literary, cultural and musical dynamics of the city of Oxford, and the natural beauty of the campus.
The preppiness and pretentiousness of the town is a huge plus in the respect that it keeps the less desirable away.

LSU is the most aggressive and most obnoxious. but Alabama isn't the most delusional anymore. that's a misplaced notion these days because our delusion would be that we're great... we ARE great now. we're delusional WHEN we suck.
and MSU is NOT the most friendly... to hell with MSU. they really are obnoxious and painful and WAY redneck. (of course... again, no offense to you proud few MSU fans on this site.) but MSU fans are among the worst.
it's LSU, then Florida/UT, then Auburn for actual obnoxious levels.

Still doesn't surprise me. Bama fans are

Any Egg bowl. I remember when I was real young and we lost in starkville back in the 90's. Me and my dad were trying to get out of redkneckville, but the frickers wouldnt get out of the street. Then they started hitting our car with cowbells. I'll never forget him saying "You see. This is why it sucks to lose to State. This is why we cant lose to State. You forget about how bad they are until those stupid frickers beat you. Sorry son, didnt mean to say the F word, but I just hate them"

Aubarn, LSWHo, Rocky Flop. Florida has gotten pretty fricktarded too but I expect them to fall down to earth with the loss of Timmay and Coach Cryer/Liar's pansy avoidance tactics.
