Bob Knight...What does AUB need to do to lure him there?

Was watching Sportscenter and Bob Knight mentioned that he was thinking about possibly coming back to Coach.. So with the current job openings what would AUB need to do to lure him to Auburn?

Knight might be a good fit at Auburn- he would probably get complete control, and would put fans in the seats

I'm not sure why people are positive he's a bad fit for Auburn in particular... he's already coached at a worse program and worse academic institution in Texas Tech IMO... so that's not an issue
If he really has an interest in coaching for 5 plus more years then he's not a bad interim solution... I doubt he will get teams to the level of contending for a national championship but it seems extremely likely he'd make Auburn competitive or better

I wouldn`t totally discount Knight to Auburn. I have it on good authority that the very first call Mal got on his cell phone once Gottfried was let go was from the General himself. He was VERY interested in the Bama job last year. Once it became obvious we were moving in a different direction (Grant), Knight expressed interest behind the scenes for the UGA job. It`s obvious that ADs are hesitant to make that move. I actually think CRMK would strongly consider the Auburn job if AU is truly interested.

I would rather have Mike freakin Davis than Bobby Knight. The thought of having Knight at Auburn makes me physically ill. You think the guy that greeted Jacobs at the airport when Chizik was hired was bad? That will be nothing compared to the pure unadulterated hate that I will throw at them if Knight is hired.

Bob was down at the cardinals spring training game vs the braves today. I yelled at him to come help us at auburn. He didn't respond
