He's a good fullback.

Didn't Collins and Hill once say they wanted to go to college together??
Posted on 2/20/10 at 5:07 pm to TheBob
He actually started at RB for the Ravens. Now back at fullback.

you guys are talking about fullbacks?

So lsu's offensive line is going to be magically improved this year? I really don't see that happening considering who they have coming back on the line. They were pretty bad last year.
You're talking about the line that had Bama's all world defense behind in the fourth quarter last year? After paying the ref's off and our top DB out Bama's pulls one out its arse. That line?

From a numbers standpoint Julio could of been better served going to a place that catered to passing the ball more but he chose to go to Alabama. In the end I don't think it will effect his draft status that badly. If he has a real good year this year he could probably go ahead and come out and get drafted high. He will never be featured in Alabama's offense though.

McClain's career high at Bama was 66 yards. Don't think that is the kind of production Hill is looking for.

Well, Shaun Alexander was a NFL MVP, but you wanted someone that played at Alabama during the past decade. Obviously that's not going to be a large list, with the lack of NFL draft pick on the offensive side of ball while Franchione and Shula were there. Coffee is just the first example of RBs that will make it to the NFL under Saban.

See how easy that is? Again your post made no sense. Hill lives in Baton Rouge and will be attending LSU.

streetdiction,
Considering that Mclain never played a down under Saban that should not matter. Why bother to make such a stupid comparison?

thebob584,
You don't know that for sure. The factors are not really the same when you consider Julio. I am not so certain he would of gone to Alabama had Shula been the coach. I think Saban got a lot of good players based on what they knew he could accomplish there. lsu is not that stable right now and could be in transition next year if Miles does not produce. It is not the same situation really. Juilo sacrificed going to places that would cater to him more offensively to be a part of what most people felt would be Alabama's rise back to championships under Saban (they were right).

I didn't make it GZA. Your fellow Bama fans did. I was just pointing out the hilariousness of it.
Now i'm pointing out the hilariousness in you missing it and calling your own fan base stupid while making yourself look stupid at the same time

Nope. The one that helped pave the way for eight total yards and no first downs in the fourth quarter against Alabama.

IMO all that matters is what Saban produces because this is the current situation. I am sure Ingram and Richardson will be in the NFL and do quite well.

LSU recruiting train still rolling despite what SEC Ranter says because Trevon Randle and Alonzo Lewis just committed.

you guys always talk about the 4th quarter. I'm sure we could have had more rushing yards if we get the ball after we intercepted it.
After that play, you were able to grind more clock down, and then put a fg on the board that put us in passing situations.
At least most of you admit it was an interception.

My point is simple. If he's obviously lying about when he found out about LSU's Jr day, which we know is a lie, maybe he's not being 100% truthful about being a lock for LSU.
Making up lies to skip LSU's Jr day to attend Bama's should be a cause for concern. No?
CFB is on the cusp of becoming a full-fledged Bama fan.
It's coming. I know it...he knows it.

"How is Glen Coffee doing in the NFL."
He is running 2nd string (in his first year) behind one of the best RBs in the league in Frank Gore (arguably the best). Kind of hard to rack up numbers under that circumstance.

Again, I listed Le'Ron McClain because he did start at RB for the Ravens in 2008. Other than him, the only other RB from Alabama, that played within the last decade, was Ken Darby. He played for the Buc and Rams. Shaun Alexander was NFL MVP, but he didn't fit your criteria. Of course, none of those matter, because they have nothing to do with the current situation. Coffee is just the first of a number of Alabama RBs that will have their chance in the NFL.

this past Thursday night." Hill's explanation of why he visited Bama's Jr day instead of LSU's.
The clock expired and Miles thought he had a TO left.
