The announcers mentioned it numerous time throughout the game. The attention got diverted to all of their fans throwing shite and acting retarded at the end of the game...

Mentioned on the broadcast, just like LSU was. Additionally, college football coverage > college basketball coverage, because the media needs to find all sorts of different angles to cover a football game in a given week.
