Nashville is too hard to pick but if I had to I would say Maggiano's Little Italy.

Mugshots is solid. Never been to the Mama Goldberg's in Auburn, but the new one in Homewood is pretty good.

Just figured a chain restaurant/bar wouldn't be the best thing a town had to offer

Mario's used to be really good but I think he lost the restaurant. Surprisingly Nashville isn't that great of a restaurant city, nothing really unique.
