Gerhart had better stats for 2 reasons: 1.) He was the only back Stanford actually used where Bama had a plethora to choose from and 2.) He plays in the Pac 10!

Sure there are teams that would not want Ingram because they have backs that better fit their systems.

I hope not all Bama fans are so arrogant to believe that every school in country would want Ingram. He would not be as effective in other teams systems and the one Alabama runs suits him perfectly.
