Just saw the local bay area news. He said it shows TN fans loved what his staff was doing over there. Smug as ever.

Chalk up another moral victory to little boy Kiffy, his dad must be proud.

He has character issues, something I knew but overlooked while UT was heading in the right direction on the field.
I don't wish him bodily harm and he is the past, nothing can change that, I do hope he fails in his career. I am now worried about the future of UT and nothing else.

If Kiffin had been an astronomer instead of a football coach, he'd still think the earth was flat and the center of the universe.

This is going to be a hilarious train wreck to watch go down. He's a guy you love to hate, and has a personality that is going to make for fireworks. Sit back and enjoy the show.

I always burn a mattress when I'm happy about the job my coaching staff has done. I see nothing wrong w/ his comments.

If I was Monte, I would get a wine opener, and perform a 130th trimester abortion on his skull. Seriously, Monte is a legit guy, but the fact that he's walking his disgrace of a son through this is just baffling.

I think he'll be successful at USC..because of his father but he'll be a trouble maker to the Pac 10

His dad won't be there forever.
Everyone wants to talk shite and hope for some kind of vengeance on this guy for being a slimeball. He's going to burn out like a supernova at USC.

quote:Exactly, I was so pissed when he said that. Did he ever think that maybe we were upset because he just decided to ditch us 3 weeks from NSD. We were going to have a possible top 5 class but now we will be lucky to put together a top 10 or 15 class with the NCAA investigating us. That's ok though, if a player doesn't want to play for us just because Kiffin isn't the coach then I would rather him play somewhere else. Lame Kiffin isn't nothin but an immature beady eyed d-bag who cares for nothin but himself. Yes I just said LAME!

I saw his interview on a local channel here affiliated with NBC in LA. The man had zero remorse on his face. Said TN is great but this his home.

I quote: "As I reflected on it and looked at it, really it was their passion showing about how passionate they were on what we were doing. And I thought to myself "what would have happened if we were leaving and they didn't care?" It would have meant we weren't doing a very good job and they didn't see the future in what was being developed. Um... Um.... I...I looked at it in a different way. I looked at it as very passionate people for a great program and a great university, and they were in love with what we were doing there."
I really can't think of a sentence/paragraph on the top of my head that contains the overwhelming amount of douchiness and smugness.
