So Dylan Favre equals Doug Flutie? Right, kind of like how other MSU posters have said that you now have the best QB to ever come out of MS in Russell. This is what makes MSU fans great. They have hope. Delusional, but filled with hope...

FWIW both Russell and Favre are two of the top passing QBs from Mississippi I have ever seen personally. I think they will both be good and contribute to the program at Mississippi State. Favre wont see the field anytime soon, but if he redshirts this upcoming season (as many people expect) he could be Starting his senior when we play agains USM (where Uncle Brett was a Legend)

I guess the QB talk hijacked my talk of Diaz.

Good hire. I have been hoping they would hurry up and hire somebody. But the last few days, new people with good credentials were thrown into the mix so I was hoping they would take a little longer to check everyone out. Either way, I trust Mullen made the best decision and it was a good hire.

Dont intend to highjack the thread, did you guys (Miss St) actually sign a 6-7 370 lb DT? Can this kid play?

Hell yeah we did. James Carmon and yes, he can play. He is a beast and will start at DT this year alongside All-SEC Pernell McPhee and All-SEC Freshman Fletcher Cox.

James Carmon reported yesterday to a MSU pay site that he has been in Starkville since last Monday and loves it at State, also he noted that he is down to 350lbs with a goal of playing at 335 next season.

Not really that fat, look at his pic. Gotta remember that the guy is 6'7". I think he will be a great fit on our D-Line

I'm not the one calling a 5'8'' QB a possible SEC player(I know Tyson Lee did it), and saying that Tyler Russell is up there with the greats of Favre, Mcnair, and Manning. That my friend, is the definition of delusional. What are we delusional about? Most reasonable OM fans knew we would lose a few football games and we did. Finished the season RANKED. Currently RANKED in basketball but don't really expect to make it past first two rounds of NCAA's if we do make it. Baseball will be RANKED, but I know we won't be as good as usual. That is being realistic, not delusional. The reality is we are RANKED in every major sport, so there is not much to be delusional about. Again, RANKED in every major sport...

Pointless to Argue with arrogant arse Ole Miss fan. You reall believe that most State fans think all that horse shite your saying. Just because one guy comes on here and says this doesn't mean we all feel like that. Most of us have very good sports knowledge and most of us know exactly what we have yet you want to contradict your own argument.

Did you not know that Ole Miss is the most over rated team in the country. I know exactly what yall are. I played all three of your RANKED teams and didn't seem to have to much trouble with them. Congrats on your RANK!
