I was pretty young for that game, when I found out about his stats I was STUNNED. Is that how he normally played? If so, that dude has made a pretty sweet living in Alabama off of a pretty average career1

A quick google search didn't turn up a source for his stats during his years at Alabama, but I can tell you that, in 1994, he won the Unitas Golden Arm and came in fairly high in the Heisman voting (5th). I think its safe to say that his performance in the MNC game was more the product of being a young quarterback playing against a really good defense in a huge game, than it was an indictment of his skills as a QB. But that was still an awful, awful game, statistically speaking.
