Guys, I study and follow weather modeling info. I can tell you to not take this lightly. As of now expect 1-4 inches of snow anywhere from Tn-KY line southward to places like Montgomery. No forecaster knows just how much accumulation there will be for any one location but we do know that what precipitation falls will be snow, and it WILL stick. FAST. Temperatures all week will be below freezing and at night will drop into the teens. The air behind the front that bring the snow will be the coldest we've seen in...well...a long time. And it's not going anywhere for a while. Snow makes temps drop. We could see temps close to zero next Fri and beyond. This kind of cold is nothing to play around with. Can things change? Sure. The storm could completely go away...but, I think this one has legs. Make sure to check on old folks and take care of pets. I know you guys know all this....just wanted to help if possible. Remember, when the snow starts there will be almost IMMEDIATE travel problems because of the cold already in place. If it starts before the game is over everyone be careful.

How much would it suck for all of you guys for the power to go out and you cant watch the game and you're freezing your arse off.....all the while, I'm in the Rose Bowl watching it live, in 55 degree weather.

Could you imagine the chaos in the state of Alabama if major power outages occured on Thursday .. I lived in Minnesota when I was a kid and all their shite was underground; that's the way to go...

Actually it wouldn't bother me too much if the power went out and I couldnt watch it....then I could take a xanax and go to sleep and hope by the time I wake up that the game is over and that we won
