"I'd put him more in the fourth-round category right now. If he has another strong performance, I could see him going in the third round."

Who would have thought that before the season started. Some credit has to be given to Kiffin's system.

I don't know if I would say that. He has always had the tools, he finally got a little confidence this year though. Great year for him though

Why would a team pick him up in the 3rd or 4th when he is just going to get the boot after the BS pre-season games??? Dude to me just doesn't have it. I would maybe pick him up in the 7th but no higher than that

Obviously you didn't watch much UT this year, he made some throws that no other QB in the conference could make.

Problem is, he's also made some throws that no other QB in the conference would want to make.

I did painfully watch some UT football this year, and to say that no other QB could make some of those throws is silly, and you must have not watched ANY of the Arky games.

Crompton put touch on a lot of his passes this year. Mallet throws it 100 miles an hour every time he drops back. Frankly watching UT must have been enjoyable for an LSU fan, yall had the most miserable offense I've ever laid eyes on. No way you put up more than 17 on Jo Pa

Right right. What's your bowl record in the last decade???? Thank you Sir, and have a nice day. Way to change the subject too. And we will score 30 on Penn State. Book it.

Crompton will get eaten alive in the NFL. Kiffen dumbed down the offense and put Crompton in high percentage plays. He's like a poor man's Stafford, makes an occasional good throw that makes people forget all his other stupid shite until he effs up again.

I guess you think Tebow was running the Colts offense

He has a better chance of playing QB in the NFL than Tebow.

Back to the point...didn't Kiff run that same play 100 times in a row where the running backs went right and Crompton "bootlegged" left and pass to the tight end.
It was apparent they simplified the play book some at least.
Crompton made progress but after most of you guys torched him it seems silly to now sing his praises. He deserves the praise though.

This is not the case. Don't believe me, watch the Virginia Tech game. The system Kiffin runs with Crompton is more complicated than it appears. In most cases Crompton comes to the line with 3 plays, checks to whichever play depending on the coverage

Crompton is easily the second most NFL ready QB in the SEC. I implore you guys to watch the uga or Bama games or even the first half of Ole Miss.

Tebow will still be drafted higher and will still play more than Crompton*
*Unless Crompton is drafted/signed by the Raiders and then who the frick knows.

Crompton is actually a potentially great QB with a huge upside.. But I'd say 3rd round is too high since it is a risk..
