Shreveport is full of Dawgs at the moment, most are very nice and knowledgeable, one was very obnoxious about The Hat. While I have no problem with dissing CLM I take exception when other fans do.
My reply was basically, "I know man he is terrible, If we had a genius like Richt he could lead us to the glory of the Indy Bowl.

Shreveport is full of aggies, by a LOT bigger margin than dogs. Surprising, but I mean Georgia probably had MUCH higher aspirations than the destination city of Shreveport, while tamu is just happy to be in ANY bowl

Great reply. I live over in Bulldog country- about an hour and a half from Athens. Man, they can be a pretty arrogant bunch. Anyway, that was an awesome response.

Thanks, I live in Snellville. Out of all the years Ive seen college football. They were relatively quiet until 2003. Then they really got on my nerves when we won the Championship again. Its a curse.

Why is it surprising, have you looked at a map? Texas is about 15 miles from Independence stadium and College Station is only about 4.5 hours away from Shreveport. While Athens is closer to 10 hours from Shreveport.

AJC showed today where UGA only sold something like 6800 of their allotted 12k.
