If it isn't something life-threatening, I am sure Florida would give him a leave of absence for however long it took to get back into good shape, as long as Meyer wanted to stay.
Do you guys think that he is leaving because of exhaustion?
I can't think of a coach leaving at his prime other than Ara Parseghian.

look I HATE the university of Florida but God be with Meyer right now...hopefully it is just physical or emotional fatigue...

It's all speculation until they release add'l info, but how many times have we heard of someone going into the hospital and they find something that's serious and unrelated to the initial reason for the hospitalization.
