...with the years. I'll go first.

The Rose Bowl
Pasadena, California
Record: Won 4, Lost 1, Tied 1
1926 Alabama 20, Washington 19
1927 Alabama 7, Stanford 7
1931 Alabama 24, Washington State 0
1935 Alabama 29, Stanford 13
1938 California 13, Alabama 0
1946 Alabama 34, Southern Cal 14

I guess if you notice the beatdowns we use to put on those west coast pussies, you will understand why they quit allowing the teams from the Southeast to play in the Rose Bowl. I guess this year will not actually go down as a Rose Bowl Appearance but the BCS title game.

We have about the same win to loss ratio in the Rose Bowl as we do other stadiums throughout the SEC. I really don't see this game being any different that winning in Jordan Hairless or one of the other Alabama practice facilities throughout the conference.

You know...instead of everyone bashing Alabama I think it would be more approcpriate if people would just say thanks. Thanks for making the SEC what it is today.

Why would I bash Bama?

They basicly brew my coffee every morning to get me going.

There is nothing Bama can't do.

Auburn will never be a championship program, they will always be, "just Auburn, the team that plays Alabama in the Iron Bowl". If it were not for Alabama, Auburn would be like Vandy. Our greatness made Auburn competitive.

Bama playing in Texas in BDwest is Awesome! It's been a while but I think it's time to reclaim what we won in the 20's though 46

Scoop has been on a 3 day fishing trip...just can't get many bites. You've posted too many rational thoughts over the years to get reactions.

What the hell does this have to do with anything? I mean, you Gumps are notorious for living in the past, but who the hell cares about the Rose Bowl from sixty some odd years ago?

True. And the fact that you're not playing in the damn Rose Bowl game this year. That's Oregon-Ohio State.

Bama won national championships and SEC championships in 20s 30s 40s 60s 70s 9 favored for 00s and SEC0s and's in every decade because our great grandfathers grandfathers fathers were champions ....your grandfathers were wussies and the nut doesnt fall very far from the tree.So thats why the past is everything - the past is your present and your future..you lost then you lose now and you will always be losers.
