Hasn't been the most fun reading some of that stuff today. Very, very disappointing to hear.

I was disappointed, but I had a OL tell me basically the same on sunday and he was heartbroken.

has more to do with the team becoming a bit divided...we had a group of players that basically mailed it in and became more worried about draft status rather than playing for their team...there is much more than that but thats some of it...sucks.. i feel bad for the committed players like tebow and spikes
I just can't see a team re-establishing chemistry after such a obtainable goal was in grasp and not having team members committed.

FWIW bama handled us...but man i wish we would have come to play...think it would have been a heck of a game

No doubt it will be a challenge. But if Urban re-focuses them we should be OK. Cincy has their own turmoil losing Kelly.

Never a good situation when coaches must leave.

Utah was the better team?
That night. Yes. Not gonna make excuses and dimish their win. They showed up to play and put it to us. The better team that night won. Props to em.

it wouldnt surprise me to see alot of the usual suspects seated on the bench for this game...especially if they continue to show this type of attitude....it will be an interesting game especially with the coaching attrition on both teams and player problems we are currently having

Cincy has their own drama, but I won't be surprised if we lose. Urban is 50/50 on getting them refocused and if not several starters will be benched and you can take that to the bank.

hard to believe that a team with leaders such as tebow and spikes could be dealing with something like this but i guess it happens

Thanks!!!!! Well, some people just mailed it in for the NFL and if that's the case good luck on the next level, but we don't need them in NO.

Players weren't told of Kelly's decision until the banquet ended, nearly three hours after the news first broke. A few blinked back tears as they left.
quote:
"We already knew what he was going to say. We weren't giving him a round of applause or anything," tight end Ben Guidugli said. "It's like somebody turned their back on us. We brought this whole thing this far. We've come this far. To have someone walk out now is disappointing."
quote:
The news didn't play well with Kelly's current team. Bearcat players were led into a meeting room, where Kelly told them he was leaving and thanked them for making his opportunity possible. One minute into the meeting, the door opened and receiver Mardy Gilyard walked out angry and alone, save his MVP trophy.
