Gerhart is also the ONLY REAL option on his team and teams lined up to stop him... Ingram had the luxury of having one of the nations best wideouts that defenses had to plan against as well. Also, do you really think there would have been THAT BIG a drop off if say Richardson would have been in Ingram's place this year...I dont.

I wonder if you were among the group that said this for......... the first 9 weeks of the season when everyone was agreeing that McElroy was horrible and Ingram was our only offense?

And I agree, Richardson is better than Gerhart.

i guess this is the thread where everyone forsakes the SEC in order to make the case why an Alabama player shouldnt win it despite the board agreeing that Ingram probably won it in the SECCG.

Well, people wonder why we dont win heismans, its because the SEC gets cannibaly when Alabama gets close.
