dude still has it made.
and yeah make fun of him for crying, but he manned up and gave an interview right after the game to wolfson. not many players would have done that.

I'm not so sure about that.

Everything he does is for TV, including the crying. Of course he gave an interview, it's his favorite thing to do (besides crying).

stfu NOLA. If you could pick how your son would turn out, he'd be Tebow.

Tebow is the all American young man.

Well apparently I am a heretic, not to mention a jaded and unfortunate person since I don't worship at the alter of Tim Tebow? Forgive me, but I just believe that people who are truly humble don't need to remind everyone about their humility. I have great respect for Tebow but some of his schtick seems forced and image oriented.
I also find it irionic that you fans of Tebow's All-American Christian character have to insult his critics and remind them that Tebow is better than them.

so you believe he wasn't truly upset about the game? the tears were fake for television purposes?
the guy put in 4 years of hard work and came back for his senior year to win another title. when he realized that wasn't gonna happen he lost it. is it embarrassing? hell yes. was he genuine? i certainly believe so.
as an LSU fan i've watched tebow rip my team apart year after year, so i should be hte last person defending him. i just find it sad that some people bash him because of things of the media coverage he gets. whenever tebow is interviewed he gives the opponenet credit and thanks his creator. sounds like a stand up guy to me and he doesn't deserve the shite people on this board are giving him. it's ok though, he'll be more successful than 99.9% of his haters anyway.

Always use a disclaimer before saying anything that could be misconstrued as negative about Tim Tebow.
Example. disclaimer: Tim Tebow is a great kid, a devout Christian and a remarkable athlete. No one has run up and down the sideline doing the Gator Chomp better than he, no one has torn off their helmet, running and cheering, or mimic-ed cellphone usage (and no penalty) with more elegance and passion than he. No one has fired up and led their team as he, or been as good a person as he. We all are dim in the shadow of his perfection. You and I will never be as good a person as Tim Tebow.

You've got to be out of your fricking mind if you think Tim fricking Tebow is better than everyone on this board. He's generally a nice guy, but he's also immature, can't think for himself, is dumb as a fricking rock, and cheesy to the hilt.

No shite, huh? It's fricking pathetic.

I'm sure tebow would be the first to tell you that the lord created all men equal. He would not appreciate you telling everyone on this board that he is greater than them.

quote:I am sure he was upset, and maybe his tears were real, but it seems forced. It seems like much of what he does, he does knowing that it moves people like you to react the way you do. And that the media will continue to portray him as the humble warrior, which they do ad nauseum Maybe I am cynical and wrong but I think it's hokey and fake on some level.
so you believe he wasn't truly upset about the game? the tears were fake for television purposes?
quote:I have never jumped on the bash Tebow bandwagon, I think he is a great athlete and a great kid, and I think he could play any number of positions in the NFL and succeed but I don't understand some of the Tebow worship. And I just think he does a lot of what he does because he knows how the media will portray it.
