Not set in stone but it might as well be. I wish we got to play Iowa or Northwestern... so tired of Wisconsin.

We owe them a little revenge imo.

I haven't seen a single highlight of this guy having to break tackles or make any moves on anyone.
Then you have blinders on...that dude is a freight train. I'm not taking anything away from Ingram, but Gerhart is a beast.

Gerhart - 311 attempts for 1,736 yards (5.58 ypc)and 26 TDs
Ingram - 249 attempts for 1,542 yards (6.19 ypc)and 15 TDs

I've watched them both play in person, and both are absolutely deserving.

Back in 2007, McFadden had a performance against Auburn better than Ingram had against Auburn, but still not that great. That game cost him the award. I expect similiar results for Ingram.
did Mcfadden lite up the number 1 defense in america in the sec championship that year? Ingram should win with ease....

You made a statement about how Texas will crush the Gumps. If you'd have watched, you would know Texas sucked arse in that game and were exposed. The Nebraska D basically dominated them most of the game and made Texas look mediocre at best.

If they don't find some offense in the next month, Bama will roll them.

Yep, they sure are. I paid more attention to the PAC 10 this year, and Gerhart is the real deal. Again, not hatin' on Ingram because I believe he is special. I just think overall, Gerhart is the man.

They should be playing the Wildcats of Northwestern, I'd think...

So, Gerhart is sick because he has 62 more carries for 194 more yards? Let's finish with Ingram's stats.

Ingram 1542 rushing and 15 TD's
Ingram 30 receptions for 322 yards and 3 TD's

Ingram totals 1864 yards and 18 TD's.

Gerhart has another 149 yds on 10 receptions for a total of 1885 yds.

Ingram has gotten more yardage on less touches than Gerhart has. Not taking away from Gerhart at all, he's got more TD's, but other folks wanting to make out he's so much more of a beast than Ingram is buying into false hype.

The difference between Gerhart and Ingram is that Ingram put up great numbers against top notch defenses. Gerhart is good but he didn't put up 246 against a good USCe D and 189 total yards against the number 1 D. UF had only allowed 3 rushing TDs all year and Ingram had that in one game.

how many rushing TDs do other Stanford RBs have though?
I think TR has like 5 or 6 and upchurch has a couple. Not that that makes ingram BETTER, but it is a good reason why he doesn't have quite as many TDs

Geez, Chill...I'm not insulting Ingram or his abilities - to the contrary - I think Ingram is a special back. The only point I was making is Gerhart basically carried his team, unlike Bama who is loaded with offensive weapons.

The good part is this last weekend probably shut down the campaigns of Tebow and McCoy (hopefully). And it should be a close race between Ingram and Gerhart.

That's the biggest difference: Ingram gets to rest while his backups play extensively. Gerhart doesn't.

I wasn't trying to bash gerhart or anything, just saying ingram gets a lot taken away cause the team is so good.

i'll take a good team with a NC over a ok team with a heisman anyday though.
