Yes... please, everyone chime in on how you think Dunlap will be playing so you will look stupid on Saturday.
Keep it coming.
Dunlap will not be playing.
For every instance you can show of Meyer doing the right thing with player discipline, there are three cases where he condones this thuggish behavior. Form jumping on the eye at TS, whick NO other team does out of respect, to bringing back suspended players for the LSU game in 2008, then suspending them again after the game, to the handling of the Brandon Spikes thing.
Who knows, maybe he will do the right thing, but like I said, there is no history to go off of to say that he will.

Nope! This guy will not get suspended unless the backup is just as good.

Maybe Meyer will call Kiffin for some advice.
We all know some story will come out of this and this kid will be allowed to play. I have a neighbor who was killed a month ago by a lady who ran him over on the interstate while he was helping his daughter with her car on the side of the road. The drunk lady was found in a mall parking lot a few miles away passed out. Anyone who is drunk and driving and arrested for DUI should be thrown in Jail wether they kill someone or not. Driving while drunk is serious stuff. The Drunk Lady was out of jail the next day while the man's family had to plan his funeral.

His backup is clearly not as good and Dunlap won't be playing Saturday. Believe what you want, though.

you would think he would be trying to get some rest. who the hell parties with the biggest game of your life coming up( and one of the last) in the middle of upcoming finals?
although i doubt it, maybe the rest of the team is partying as well.

Can you link the pics of us jumping on the 50 yard line, the eye? A buddy of mine says he didn't think it happened and I want to show him.
Carlos will not play. End of story IMO.
Anyone want to bet $$$ on this?

I was there in 2007 and 2009. Didn't take pics, but after it happened this year, the teams damn near came to blows at midfield.

If Dunlap is suspended for the game this just puts more pressure on Saban to win this game. If Bama loses badly, say 31-7 and UF exposes Bama's one dimensional offense the heat will be on Saban.

Thanks. Seen that one before. It looks like they were on the fringe of the eye and most of them were turning to head then the LSU guys see that some of the team are on the eye then we have the jump off.
I always thought they met on the dead center of the eye and dug their toes in the turn tearing up the paint job.

That was 2007. This time they were on it, but never crossed the 50.

What a selfish act...
Kids do this sometimes because they can't stand the heat. Pressure does many things to an athlete. I've seen guys come up with phantom injuries (sore hammy, cramps, etc.) in the heat of battle because the pressure got to much. Maybe Dunlap couldn't handle the pressure of the next 2 games and all the attention it would bring on him. Maybe he couldn't handle the pressure of performing against top talent where he could hurt his draft status.
Kids do stupid stuff that even they can't explain. My roommate at UF did the same thing and too was a freakish athlete. He didn't want the attention and couldn't handle the pressure. It's hard to think guys so gifted and physical, could be so scared internally.

quote:When did it become illegal to sleep in a person's car? A half-arse defense lawyer will get this one thrown out in about 2 seconds. "My client knew he was impaired and decided to sleep in his car rather than drive while under the influence."
he also found Dunlap alone in the car and asleep at the wheel.
Any witnesses see him actually driving the car? Pfftttt!!

dont have to be driving. If the keys are in the ignition, he can be found guilty.. or if they were on his person. The car doesn't even have to be running.

He was at a Green Frickin' LIGHT!
I have had dumbass friends do this or something similar. Heck, one guy pulled over on the side of the road and turn the car off and passed out.
He still got a DUI because the keys were in the ignition.
