Dan Mullen and Houston Nutt quotes is light weight to what is being said by the MSU and Ole Miss recruiting sites about each other. Those people crack me up about their inside source here and there.

Until signing day recruiting is mostly BS imho. Can't believe people get so hung up on a kid saying that he MIGHT go to a school

Yall need to chill out about the racism stuff and talk about the game. Has anyone said that anybody is negatively recruiting? Other than saying they weren't doing it? I think we have to pressure jevan this weekend and from what I saw against mallet, we're not really even trying to.

I dont' get it either. Yes, recruiting is very, very important but for grown men to wrap their lives around it, facebook stalking, "inside sources", etc. is beyond ridiculous.

You guys are just going to have to can Torbush if you want the defense to go anywhere. Although the Pernell McPhee/Bradley Sowell match-up this weekend should be an interesting one. Sowell better step it up.

Torbush has had 2 real bad games. Auburn and Ark. He's been OK the others. But yes, it wouldn't hurt my feelings if he was gone.
I have heard that Mullen and Hudspeth aren't getting along. After not seeing our receivers progress much this year, I can see why. But then again, our QB situation is pretty bad.

Mullen almost had to say some things like that. His job is to fire up the bulldogs, whether that be by making "Kiffin-esqe" style comments about the school up north or whatever. Let's face it, Mississippi State is probably the second worst job in the SEC behind Vanderbilt. Outside of Sly Croom's one year of success, when was the last time they were bowl eligible? I will credit Mullen and Company because they have improved since last year. We will see how they do long term though.

Before Peepin Crooms, we went in 98', 99', 00'. Egg bowl was good at that time. Before that it was 91', 92', 94'. 1 Liberty, 3 Peach, a Cotton and Independence. In that amount of time, Ole Miss went to 1 Gator, 1 liberty, A motor City, A music City, and three independence.
