What do you expect these guys to say when asked this type of question?
"Yes I've talked to them and we are working on a deal as we speak. Oh, my agent is calling me, hang right there and you might have a scoop."

You can only take a guy at his word, and until he actually leaves I'll continue to believe what he said...
the fact is, most people don't really know Malzahn. You don't know what motivates him. You don't know if he's happy in Auburn or wants to leave ASAP. Anything at this point is speculation.
With that being said, all we have is the man's word PERIOD.
