I agree. It was a horrible call for the replay guy not to have overturned the call. Have no idea what he was drinking.
But its a stretch to assume LSU would have scored a TD. Had we not roughed the punter, none of this happens. Still even if we had scored, its fair for the Alabama fans to speculate Tiffen would have made a fg.

Of course it is a possiblity....
Just like JJ and his one play all day. Just because he was shut down all day, does not mean you dont keep trying.
Your loss will be to the number 1 team as well.

RockyStop, you just don't understand. Our beef is with the refs taking the opportunity out of our hands. If the interception stands, Bama is only up by six. You don't kick the FG to go up by nine and it's a different ballgame. LSU wouldn't have been forced to score twice to win.
True, LSU had nine yards in the 4th quarter but could anyone guarantee LSU couldn't have driven the ball in for a TD or at the least a FG? A pass play similar to Julio Jones' TD could have occurred against Alabama.
The issue is that we will never know if we could have pulled the game out. Momentum would have changed over to LSU.
LSU has been a victimized by the striped shirts numerous times in recent years. A great example is the LSU-Auburn game in '06.

compared to that game Sat was a perfect call by the refs

I think it absolutely was a possibility. Not a probability but certainly a possibility. Alas, we will never know because the refs, not your defense robbed us of any chance.

One more point to make. Quite a number of LSU fans are saying we probably couldn't have gone the distance to score a TD. However, the game is played for 60 minutes and there's always the possibility.
Facetiously asking this one. If Saban and Alabama were so certain LSU couldn't score a TD after the interception, why didn't y'all man up and turn over the ball at our 35-yard line?

False.
Lee led one drive of 59 yards for a score that Charles Scott got 37 of the yards.( Scott left the game after his 34 yard run)
Lee's other drives consisted of....
3 plays 9 yards punt
3 plays -8 yards punt
5 plays -8 yards punt
When JJ and Scott went out the game was over.

yea bc we had only 9 yards means we didn't deservet he chance we fricking earned. stupid fricking gumps. ever heard of a busted play or momentum swing?

I actually believe that the INT call helped LSU. If LSU had gotten the ball back Lee was do for a pick 6 which would have allowed bama to win by a greater margin.
I'm kidding, sort of, of course - but holy Christ - it's over... we all should move on!

I don't think LSU would've drove the 65 yards. But, they deserved their chance to..and not the airtight denial of any chance that Bama lose that game late.
Bama the slightly better team, and the bye week and legs late in the game, were huge factors..
None of which alibis habitually poor SEC officiating blunders, which year after year favor it's lead BCS horses that Fall..LSU included some years.

yea easy to move on when your team isn't the one fricked over. I wonder why bama fans are so eager to just move on?

Chill the frick out....do you remember the no call pass interference in T.S. in '04? Probably not. It all came full circle didn't it now. You lost and no broken play was allowed

Just because your sissy Shula Coached player fell down in the endzone in 2004 has no bearing on this game

yea i remember it and yall still bring it up so why should we move on from a much worse call in 2 days? bc it doesn't fit with what you want?
lets see here we have one that is a judgement call on a penalty and the other is clearly something that can be over turned with replay. replay clearly shows PP not only got 1 mother fricking foot in but he got both in while having possession.
will being pissed get the ball back to us with 5 mins? no. Should the sec be allowed to not fricking answer up to why the replay officials can't do their fricking job? hell yes. so until they answer up they need to be pressured

and yet another bama fan fails to grasp the difference between a pass interference call and a change of possession overturned.
