M2pro. Who else? They went undefeated and every other team lose a game and has an excuse. That team won every game no excuses. That is what I like. I think if Alabama or Florida goes undefeated this year it will have a strong case. And while in my opinion the SEC was down that year that was simply a dominate team.

They(Auburn) beat Florida in 2006 without all the studs on the 04 teams
Florida 08- If Ole Miss beat them Auburn 2004 would have destroyed them.
As I said if Alabama or Florida go undefeated this year they would have a strong case.

there are a lot of factors in every game of football. florida losing to Ole Miss last year was indeed a fluke.

Florida in 08 lost to Ole Miss so that means Auburn 2004 would have destroyed them? Nice argument.
Florida drilled everybody after that Ole Miss loss, Auburn of 2004 would have had the same thing happen to them IMO.

That was a very strong team. I think I'd take 2006 LSU against just about any of the NC teams this decade though..

Oddly enough, the LSU 2007 team looked better than any team in country has looked this year.
But I would go with the 2003 LSU team as the team of the decade.

That team should have played for the championship, but I don't think it would have won. That being said, it wasn't the best SEC team in the decade.
