i have been vocal all along in more than one post that this would happen. you don't flaunt the rules and slap the commissioner in the face and get away with it. this isn't some classroom situation we're dealing with; the SEC is a huge and highly profitable collection of huge and highly profitable football schools. they cannot afford for someone to take them on publically and make a mockery of our officials and of our league. make no mistake about it, Lane Kiffin is in trouble and he is a marked man. If he doesn't shut up, i fully expect him to be made an example of and in a dramatic fashion. Power is easy to spot and Lane Kiffin has none; he is bound by contract with a morals clause and UT is also bound by conference affiliation and agreement (also contractual). The officials at UT are not dummies; they'll can Kiffins arrogant arse in a heartbeat. They don't want to anger fans, but they will. They, and their conference affiliation (a highly profitable arrangement), is much, much stronger than one coach.
