First Jorts sighting in Starkville

I talked to my cousin who is a student at State and he said he saw a group of Florida Fans arriving in town who were going to eat at Harveys in Starkville and YES one of them had on JORTS he said it was a man in his 50's but was wearing jorts. 
Im sure they will be the first of Many Jorts Mississippi State fans will see this weekend when the Gaytor fans show up in Stark Vegas.

Wow. Didn't realize fans still wear jorts. Must be the alumni base, because I've never actually seen a student in them on campus.

You've got to be joking. 2 weeks ago i saw one florida fan wearing Lt. Jim Dangle jorts around. It was embarressing

Despite the fact that Florida fans defend the jort thing by claiming that all SEC fanbases wear jorts, I've always felt like it was the state of Florida's background of yankee transplants that causes their fanbase to have this reputation.

id agree with that. the yanks in florida cause the jorts and the guidos that have now popped up at uf. road gator is their leader

Its a 2 fold problem in your state. 1st you have the north florida rednecks that make up a vast majority of the jort nation. 2nd you have the flamin northeast transplant homo jort boys in south florida.

I've lived in CT and NY, and I don't think that jorts are more common in the Northeast than they are in the South, at least among white people. I think it's just one of those things that stuck with Florida fans for some reason.
