GMac had a terrible game, but I think USC defense is nothing short of spectacular... very physical and aggressive.

McElroy is a below average QB. He's the one thing that could kill Bama.

No argument there... GMac has been pretty bad the past two games. Our defense is sick nasty though... and you know what they say, defense wins championships...

I think South Carolina had the number 6 defense against the pass coming into this game. Might be one reason GMac was off today.
But he has GOT to start making better decisions and getting used to be pressured.

you had about 300 rushing yard on them and he still couldnt throw the ball to wide open WRs

no offense, but I just have never thought McElroy is much of a QB. You might not need him to be to have great success this year

USCe defense has been attrocious(basically for their standards) all year, considering how incredibly amazing they were last year.

McElroy at the very least has to be an average qb that doesn't make big mistakes, in other words much better than today.

Hence, Jay Barker '92. He was not a very good QB, but we had an awesome D. Sound familiar.

SC's defense is solid, but far from spectacular. The truth is that McElroy is JPW lite, which means your QB is average at best and the stumbling block between winning the SEC and NC.
Telling you now Bama fans, LSU matches up extremely well against your team. If LSU gets its offense going at all between now and when we play you, you guys are going to be in for a very tough game and it will not surprise me at all if LSU walks away with the victory.
