He hasn't been cleared to practice as of today.

The team did not practice today.

To be honest I hope Brantley gets the start anyways. Even if Tebow can play, he won't be able to be Tebow. His runs will be limited either by himself or coaches.

So, if we're going to have to rely on the passing game, I'll take Brantley.

I recall Meyer being unclear about whether Harvin was going to be able to play in the SEC Championship last year. This sounds similar to how he handled that, and Harvin didn't play in that game.

I don't think he will play either, but I think Meyer is going to keep it to himself until the day of the game.

I think it is pretty safe to say Tim won't play at this point.

All signs are pointing in that direction.

John Brantley > George Jefferson

I think that's probably right. And why shouldn't he? No point in letting LSU know before the game who's going to be our QB. Let 'em gameplan for both.

I feel bad for Brantley if his first start comes here. As good as our defense is looking right now, we are going to eat that kid alive. I'm speculating of course, but the odds don't look good. I still want Tebow to play but I completely understand why he wouldn't.

You don't have to worry about Brantley as much as the running backs. UF is run first, throw second team. Brantley will probably throw less than 15 times during the game.

he'll survive one running play before someone puts a hat on his ear hole and he's done.

Well god if he's that fragile he may as well hold a clipboard even when Tebow leaves.

Oh Jesus Christ... You do realize that he'll probably rush for over 100 yards now that you said that right?

I guess the MSU QB was too small for your D to see 'cause he seemed to be OK.
