I have just come to realize that after losing to Washington, USC had ONLY moved from 3rd to 12th(or 13th)...BUT Ole Miss looses to South Carolina and has moved all the way down to 21st from 4th???? I don't get it! If we would have lost to Washington, we probably wouldn't have even been in the top 25. I don't think it's fair. Just my 2 cents!

Prayers are sent to Stafon Johnson though!

Ole Miss looked AWFUL against South Carolina. Southern Cal was playing with a backup quarterback. Might have a little to do with it.

Actually, Corpe was picked to be the starting qb before the season began, but he got injured so the second string Barkley played....so USC actually lost with their starting qb.

Wrong, before the seaso started Barkley was named the starting qb. He was the started against San Jose St. and Ohio St. Corpe was healthy for both of those games.

Let's face it; USC is a media annointed Prima Donna.

Yes they've beaten teams outside the PAC 10 (Notably Notre Dame/Ohio State)

And have beaten us at various times etc.

I'm asking the NCAA what happned to the Reggie Busch Investigation? Why haven't we heard about this lately?

Prima Donnas.....

Going out a limb here but maybe it's because USC is better than Ole Miss??????

USC played and beat Ohio State. who has Ole Miss beat?

no offense to the SEC here brethren, but Ole Miss was way over-rated. USC is probably still over-rated, but i'd wager a lot that they'd beat Ole Miss.

i USED to be in the same boat. originally i thought the ole miss drop was unfair. but just think about it. in the end you're either in denial or just hard headed.

They were one spot better...

You had USC at 3rd when they lost and then you had Ole Pissy at 4th when they lost!
I think it's all BS. A win is a win and a lost is a lost, no matter how it goes down.

Now, I didn't say Ole Pissy wasn't overrated, I just think it was crappy how USC didn't drop that far...they never do! I mean is Pete and his boys giving BJ's to ESPN???

It's my opinion, so you can call it what you want. In regards to the coaches poll it might be wrong, but I am talking from my stance on it.

When SC lost they were without their starting QB AND they'd already shown they were atleast a Top 25 team (having gone into Columbus and beat OSU).

What has Ole Miss done to even deserve to be ranked AT ALL? Why shouldn't some other 1 loss team that's actually beaten someone (GT) or some undefeated team that's beaten someone (AU/Michigan) be ranked higher?

The few games I watched with them this year didn't make me think this.
I am not saying they are horrible, they just get special treatment most of the time and I don't find it is fair.
If they had a conference like the SEC, they wouldn't be as good.
