Yes. A good portion of the bama faithful live in the past. Most posters here are pretty good about it, but, in general, bama fans are more likely to brag about past achievements than other fanbases. These bama fans act like the history of their team somehow entitles the current team.

When the past 10 yrs were as bad as ours yo would too, just like LSu fans dont like to remember the Archer/Dinardo/Hallman yrs.

No argument here for the most part. That's mainly cuz they either remember the Bear days or their parents have drilled into their brains the glory of the Bear days.

If you compare our past to other fanbases, that might give you a clue as to why.
