I do have one comment about this UM statement:

"We played a conservative game plan because Tennessee wasn't trying to win, they were playing not to lose."

How do you play "not to lose" without trying to win.

Does that mean if you don't try to win, Florida won't run up the score on you? So just sit back and hope that UF will be mercifull?

I don't think UT was running a "prevent" which usually makes it easy for an offense to get a lot of first downs on short to intermediate plays.

I'm not sure that I understand what he thought UT was doing that called for a conservative game plan.
