Tell me which channel you watched LSU’s ‘69 season on.

It is hard to find much video of the 69 season.

There are a few highlights available on YouTube. Overall it was an exciting season with a team the that rose above expectations and came very close to winning it all.

Alabama has already claimed that one.

1969 Alabama Record: 6-5
Yes. 1984 and 1986 Arnsparger lost to some very strong Nebraska teams.
How is DaVonta Smith doing?

re: LSU needs to call OG Ron Cooper

One of the best defensive backfields ever:

Ron Cooper mentored one of the top secondary rooms in the country, highlighted by national award winners Morris Claiborne, Patrick Peterson and Tyrann Mathieu. In both 2010 and 2011, Cooper and the Tigers defense featured the Thorpe Award winner (nation’s top defensive back) in Patrick Peterson in 2010 and Claiborne in 2011, as well as the Bednarik Award winner (nation’s top defender) in Peterson and Mathieu in 2011. LSU was also home to the SEC Defensive Player of the Year in Peterson (2010), Mathieu (2011 by AP) and Claiborne (2011 by Coaches).

Who would win in a rematch?

coordinators and assistants

When we get a new coach, which assistants and coordinators are likely to remain?

I’m okay with a Monday firing

Miles was fired by LSU on a Sunday. He was fired by Kansas on a Monday. Anything goes.

I would also be concerned about his social justice warrioring behind the scenes. There are people who say he was pivotal in splitting the locker room and others who say he held it together so don't know what to believe but it would be a concern.

As long as he can coach, recruit, and lead, that's really all that matters
It can’t be any worse than last year, even if Jones is just an adequate DC.

So he'll let Linehan do all the work.

Malveto has LSU fans scared shitless and they should be.

Yeah, but Pelini II was much worse.

Richards would be a horrible hire

Why?

Personally, I have never liked that guy's liberal arse coaching style myself either

What is "liberal arse coaching style"?

If Scott demands that type of hire, who limited the salary of Freeman to $2,200,000? if Pelini was paid $3 million?

Is that what they offered?
