Watch a Clemson game and Jacoby Ford is the fastest player in college football.
Watch a Florida game and Jeff Demps is the fastest player in college football.
Wacth a LSU game and Trindon Holliday is the fastest player in college football.
So which is it?

He's up there. But he wasn't THE fastest. Speed was definitely underrated though.

why are we discussing something that is in the record books already?

I think that "quickest" player could be better debated.

Charlie Weiss.. He was timed at 4.16 sec. in the 100(footlong) hotdog eating contest.

Holliday has the fastest 100m time in track.
However, wind conditions were more in his favor than they were for Demps' 10.01 in High school. I don't know a ton about track so I can't explain it exactly, I just read about the effect of the wind conditions TH had when he ran vs other runners.
Also, Demps was hurt in track this last season. Running a 10.01 out of high school I have to think he has a great shot of getting to a sub-10 while in college like TH.
Also, there's a difference between track speed and football speed. I know Demps is a football player first and his speed fully transfers to the football field. I haven't watched TH enough to say how much his speed transfers into football speed if that makes sense.

I was just asking b/c the commentators doing these games always mention it. I know Trindon won the outdoor 100m. But, Ford won the indoor 60m. So what plays more into being the fastest? 100m or 60m.
If you don't like the question, don't answer dickheads.

It is always some crap with you Florida fans. TH runs those times consistently. Demps ran that 10.01 ONCE, on a VERY fast track. I am not saying that he won't run it again, but quit making excuses for him. He has never beat TH HEAD-TO-HEAD, so as of right now TH has him beat. Ford did beat TH in the 60, so he now has a claim to that title, not Demps. We will see what the future holds, but I think TH's speed translates as good or better than the other two. On that note, I do enjoy watching all three run past everybody!

I would have to say that Trindon is the fastest player in college football. However, he doesn't have the vision of some of the other guys or the ability to make the same cuts, so it doesn't translate as well.

It's not an excuse or "always something". That's just what I read about his runs. Don't get butthurt just because someone brings it up.
