Does LSU stand a chance?

Not right now, but Florida looks a lot more vulnerable than last year. Their offense looked a lot better last year than now.

If their offense can get it together. Their defense looked okay tonight, but they need to make some big improvements if they're going to beat Florida.

about as good a chance as florida has of losing in the regular season

Not really. But I hope they win.

Sure. Did Ole Miss have a chance last year?
The odds heavily favor Florida, but if JJ develops and the defense starts to gel, we have a chance.

I believe the only way we could win is if we force turnovers and keep UF's offense off the field.

It's not looking too good, but I'm keeping the faith. Did we have a chance against them in '97 when they came into Tiger Stadium ranked number 1 and they were heavily favored?

Absolutely they do. They could run the table. They could also lose a few games.
Did Stanford stand a chance against USC?
Did Utah stand a chance against Alabama?
The LSU Florida game is going to be huge. The right gameplan, and LSU will win.

LSU has a long way to go and a short time to get there. The advantage is Florida's coaching staff and their ability to maximize the use of talent, something the Tiger staff has yet to figure out.

There is still 3 more games to play between then and now. It will depend on how well LSU developes on the defensive side of the ball and as for as the Offense goes I do not believe that they have shown what they can do. I believe that once JJ gets his rhythm as for as the scheme goes and the recievers that will be there play in and play out there will be a huge difference on the offense. I believe they are still going through all the players on each side of the ball to see who they can depend on in game situations because practice is a lot difference,, there is nothing like game type situations. That will tell what the true depth charts are on both sides of the ball. I believe they will be different the week of Georgia than they are now. That will make it that much more diffecult for the opposition to prepare for because they do not know who will be where and when by then. I believe it is the way it is right now by design because of this. I still believe LSU will be 5-0 by the time Florida comes to Death Valley.

Man, it's college football. Nothing is a given. Of course LSU has a chance. LSU also has a chance to get blown out. Who knows? Every year, people think they've got a team figured out based on one week or one game and never learn. The way a team looks can change drastically from week to week. Last year, Florida looked pretty average until the 2nd half of the Arkansas game and then they caught on fire and were unstoppable. They looked like a completely different team after that.

In Tiger Stadium on a Saturday night? Nah, no chance.

If we keep improving on defense like we have seen so far and our O gets it shite together, they definately stand a chance at night in Death Valley. As Les Miles said, "where opponents dreams come to die", one of the deeper more meaningful things Ive heard come out of that mans mouth
